Ahead of the new season something that's out of their normal is happening at Gor-Mahia, for once the team appears to be more disjointed than it has a ever been for a couple of seasons now.
One of the hardest part is the team has experienced an exodus of key player and in return they have failed to secure their replacements.
Any attempt to do so has failed, as various key targets have choosen the pay cheque over the name. In the past participating in Afcon club championships was a good deal for Kenyan fotballers as they'd be offered with that chance at Gor-Mahia.
At the moment it has been tough to lure players by just that as they want the bank filled first before anything gets rolling.
Today the available Gor Mahia players showed up for training in preparations for the new season that starts next week, not to mention that Gor Mahia do have super cup final with an inform Tusker who have downed quality players at the breweries ahead of the champions league.
On updating their fans on the progress, some section of the them waren't happy of how the club has choosen to run its affairs and they couldn't hide their anger.
John Otieno : what club is this asking for a friend
Simakulu Wamlawa: How many players remained after the exodus
Baba Nataly Omond: Just nothing worth Airing
Evans Ochieng Otieno: piss off with those average kienyeji players
Although some fans were sharing their resentment others were on the clubs side wishing the team good luck ahead of the new season.
It also should be noted that Gor-Mahia's coach has not yet reported to camp as he's attending to family issues and we know how that goes.
