Manchester United is currently at the top of the premier league table after beating Burnley at Turf Moor on Tuesday night thanks to a long range strike from Paul Pogba. The Manchester based club has had its fair share of challenges in the transfer market. However, they're really busy to sign new players to help them strengthen their squad.
The Red Devils have been linked with various moves since the summer of 2020. Jadon Sancho is seen as a long term target at the club to bolster their attacking. They remain linked with a number of big players like Coman, Haaland and Caicedo. United has already completed the signing of Amad Diallo from Atalanta for £37m to help attack from the right wing.
It is now official that Timothy Fosu-Mensah is a Leverkusen player after Manchester United reached an agreement with the German club for £1.8m. The Dutch player has featured once for United this season and his services are needed at Leverkusen. Timothy played for Crystal Palace on loan but he hasn't convinced his managers that he deserves a starting spot at the club.
Ole Gunnar Solksjaer admitted that he will offload Romero, Rojo, Lingard, Jones and Fosu-Mensah for being surplus to his requirements at the moment. Reports have claimed that all these players are likely to leave United this January to look for playing time elsewhere. Lingard is linked to Inter Milan, Fosu-Mensah to Leverkusen while Romero will go to Argentina his homeland.
