Omanyala Confirms He Will Take Part in World Continental Tour

Current national record holder Ferdinand Omurwa Omanyala became the first kenyan to run 100 meter race under 10 seconds. He sprinter in 9.86 at the Josko Lauf Meeting in Austria .

The 25-year-old sprinter who recently finished fourth place in Brussel diamond league has confirmed he will part in the coming world continental tour which will be held in Nairobi Kenya next week .

Omanyala ran 10.02 seconds behind US sprinting trio of Kerley, Bromell and Norman who finished first, second and third respectively in the Brussel , in the process, defeated South Africa's Akani Simbine, the fastest man in Africa (9.84) in his debut.

The Olympic semi finalist has been in fine form this year, breaking the Kenyan record consecutively, twice running 10.01, then 10.00 before sprinting under the 10 second barrier with a 9.86 run in Austria to become the first Kenyan to achieve this feat
