First bronze medal for Kenya as Collins Kibet wins 800 metres

Finally,Kenyan athlete in 800 metres Collins Kibet won a bronze medal after coming second in the Belgrade indoors championship.The young Kibet looked set to miss out on the medals before his last sprint saw him emerge second.Kibet has become the first Kenyan to win a medal since the start of the elsewhere, Ferdinand Omanyala finished third in his heat and will wait for the third slot in order to qualify for the finals.
