Top Notch Soccer Picks To Watch Out For Bumper Harvest This Tuesday 24th August 2021

Sheriff stunned entire Europe, at least the footballing community, when they beat Croatian giants Dinamo Zagreb 3-0 in the latter’s own backyard last week. But it’s certainly far from over for Dinamo Zagreb as the second leg awaits this midweek to settle the debate once and for all. Even if the away goals rule persisted (which doesn’t), Dinamo Zagreb still need at least 4 goals to win the game and the tie. A 3-0 scoreline for the home side would take the game to extra time on Wednesday night.

Dinamo Zagreb will have to come out of their usual shell for this game. Having turned into a low-scoring side for the past few weeks now, the Croatian team has scored under 2.5 goals in 4 of their last 5 games in all competitions, which 2 of the games observing blanks too. They have opened the scoring in most of the games but suffer from the drawback of not adding a lot more goals to the leading scoreline. This Wednesday’s game could be the start of something new for them.

Sheriff’s 3-0 win in the first leg means that they have won the last 4 games in all competitions and are undefeated in the last nine. That’s some record to boast ahead of this difficult second leg in Croatia, which they are expected to lose. Like Dinamo Zagreb, they also open the scoring in most of the games, but a catch is that against Dinamo in 4 of the last 5 meetings, the Moldovian side has conceded first always.

Though Sheriff is on a 9-game unbeaten run, we believe that Dinamo will take to the field with the idea of plotting revenge against their counterparts. At home, the 1.HNL side is stronger than ever and should get a win too. But, it should not be enough to help them win on aggregate as Sheriff will surely close the game down to not concede 3 or more goals on the night. So, our best bet is a Home win / Under 2.5 goals for Wednesday, with the scoreline prediction being 2-0 in favour of the home side.
