Manchester United midfielder has opened up on what the Manchester United coach Ole Gunnar Solkjaer told him for the new season. He was rumored to be a likely exit in the last transfer window but that did not happen.
As reported by journalist Fabrizio Romano, Solkjaer told De Beek that he wanted him to stay at Manchester United for the new season. De Beek adds that he has chosen to trust the manager claiming that if he doesnt need him anymore then he will just let him go.He adds that he just needs to continue working hard and show the world what he can do.
Van De Beek has struggled to find a place in ghe starting eleven or to cement his place in the starting eleven. He has plyed as a creative midfielder but has failed to impress there.
He has also played as a defensive midfieder but also failed to impress there.Lack of gametime has affected his consistency. With Fred not impressing this season, hopefully he can get more chances.
