Former AFC Leopards Midfielder Austin Odhiambo snubs Gor Mahia for Bandari FC.

AFC Leopards midfielder Austin Odhiambo is set to join Bandari after dodging a move to Gor Mahia.

Austin who is on the process of terminating his contract with Chingwe had been linked with a move to Gor Mahia who unsuccessfully tried to sign him before the start of last season.

The midfielder will reunite with Coach Andre Cassa Mbungo who handed him his first-team debut at AFC in 2018 after he was promoted to the senior team. Bandari FC are now waiting for his paperwork to be completed before they can officially unveil him.

Odhiambo started off his career at AFC Leopards playing for the youth team. At that time, Coach Boniface Ambani was in charge of the youth team. He got his promotion to the senior team coached by Andre Casa in 2018.

Austin will be Bandari’s fifth signing after Boniface Mwangemi, Whyvonne Isuza, Rodgers Aloro, and Joseph Okoth. They are also in talks with Faraj Ominde and Chris Ochieng from Tusker and Gor Mahia’s Andrew Juma.
