The Premier League have officially unveiled their new Hall of Fame where fans can chose their most favourite players to be included and honoured for the prestigious medal award. Premier League Hall of Fame honours and celebrates their retired best players where individuals players are awarded with a membership to the Premier League Hall of Fame.
It is specifically for best players as explained by Premier League chief executive Richard Masters when he said, "A place in the Premier League Hall of Fame is reserved for the very best. It will be an occasion for our fans around the world to look back over the years and help us celebrate some truly exceptional playing careers."
The Premier League have announced the first three players to be added to the Hall of Fame, alongside a shortlist of nominees. Erick Cantona who is among the three has expressed feeling by saying, "I'm very happy and very proud, but at the same time I'm not surprised, I would have been surprised not to be elected! We have nearly 30 players who could have been elected. Me, it's different. If you have to elect one, it's me. The other ones are great, Me, I am exceptional".
