Barely days after losing their head coach Wilfred Nancy to their Major League Soccer counterparts Colombus Crew, CF Montreal who are home to Harambee Stars midfielder Victor Wanyama finally have a new coach.This is after the appointment of 40 year old Argentine tactician Hernan Losada.
"CF Montreal announces the appointment of Hernan Losada as head coach of CF Montreal first team," the club wrote.
On his side, CF Montreal Vice President Olivier Renard who doubles up as the clubs Chief Sporting Officer had this to say,"We were looking for a coach who could continue the sporting project we have been building since my arrival in 2020 and we are convinced that Hernan checks all the boxes at this level.With the philosophy put forward at the club over the past few years, both on and off the field, we are very pleased with our choice."
