That’s the reason why Rashford, Greenwood and others are not performing because of the return of Ronaldo back to Man United also. Ronaldo demands to be in the first team. He sulked when he wasn’t and claim that he was injured. But he wasn’t but was dropped. Ronaldo fan boys will say because of him, Man United is not in relegation fight.
In the season 2020/2021, man Utd scored 73 goals vs 44 against. A 29 goal difference. This season,l even though Ronaldo scored many goals, they scored only 57 goals vs 52 against. Only a mere 5 goal difference. That’s the scary part. Ronaldo’s return and the whole scoring unit suffered. Ronaldo is the problem.
The whole Man Utd team are not unify now. They have different camps. Now Fernandes is the captain instead of Ronaldo. Will Ronaldo be happy as he is the captain of the country and not at club level? But Fernandes. He is now suffering a dip of form all because of Ronaldo too. The way Ronaldo wants to play make the whole team suffered.
Chelsea were kind of quick on the gun to ditch Abraham. Dude had a ton of potential and his conversion rate wasn't half bad either. He would score every 3rd game or so.
Most of us would argue that EPL has world class teams like Burnley, Norwich, Brighton, Leeds, Wolves Crystal Palace, Watford, Aston Villa, Newcastle, Brentford. Italian league is full of easy teams like Torino, Sampdoria, Bologna, Atalanta, Lazio and Udinese. This is why world class strikers like Rashford and Gaberial Jesus find it hard to score often in the EPL.
