Chelsea will want to focus on the upcoming summer transfer window now that the takeover is complete. The Blues are looking for a number of players to bolster their squad, including PSG forward Neymar.
The Blues have been keeping an eye on the Brazilian winger's situation, but his price tag may complicate the deal. Tuchel requires some depth in his squad, particularly a winger who can provide him with a clear cutting edge in the final third. Since the departure of Eden Hazard in 2018, Chelsea's forward line has lost some of its creativity and explosiveness. However, if they sign Neymar, they will resurrect that attacking flow.
PSG recently extended Mbappe's contract and appears to be willing to sell Neymar this summer if the right offer comes along. However, the Brazilian star has three years left on his contract in Paris and has expressed his desire to stay.
Neymar: "My biggest ambition has always been to win every title possible, win the World Cup and the Champions League by playing well." These are my objectives for the upcoming season. It's got to be in Paris. I have a contract with PSG, so I don't have a choice. "It will be with PSG."
