It was a night to forget for Manchester United as they played against Liverpool at Old Trafford. The Red Devils were the poor side as Jurgen Klopp's side outplayed the hosts who showed no signs of pushing for goals.
Mohammed Salah got his hattrick, with both Naby Keita and Diogo Jota getting a goal each to hand Manchester United the embarrassing defeat at Old Trafford. The Manchester United fans left Old Trafford earlier before the final whistle was blown because of the disappointment.
After the full time whistle, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer spoke to the Sky Sports reporters and revealed who was to blame in the embarrassing loss. The Manchester United manager took the blame for the loss and urged his players and supporters to remain focused.
Solskjær stated: "I am sad, disappointed, angry of course. My emotion doesn't matter apart from what do we do to improve and make sure it doesn't happen.
We have big games coming up, so no time to sulk, no time to feel sorry for yourself. We have to come together. I take responsibility for the disappointing loss, that is it."
