Currently the national government of Kenya is constructing a new stadium in Kiambu which is known as Kiringiti Stadium so as to fulfill the promises that it made several years back, upon completion which is probably set to be early next year the stadium will be the best in the Central region.
So far the government has used around 590 million in funding the construction of the stadium, according with the photos that were recently released to the public on the progress of the construction of the stadium, it will have one of the best design when compared to other stadiums in Kenya.
Currently Kiringiti Stadium is over 75% complete, it will resemble Nyayo Stadium which is located in Nairobi but it will a little bit surpass Nyayo Stadium for it will have a shed on top of it all round, upon completion it will host 30 000 fans when full.
