Arsenal's thrash Brentford 4-0 at London Colney with goals from Gabriel, Lacazette and Cedric Soares

Arsenal hosted Brentford yesterday for a friendly at London Colney with most of it's players away for International duty. Arsenal won by four goals to none all goals coming in the second half period.

England International centre back Ben White, who had been unavailable due to illness after contracting COVID-19 made a return to the team. White together with Pablo Mari and Brazillian International Gabriel Magalhaes paired for the first time and enjoyed a clean shit with their solid defending.

The Brazillian defender Gabriel Magalhaes broke the deadlock with an openor in the 46th minute. Alexander Lacazette doubled Arsenal's lead in the 60th minute after curling home a fine free kick after Ainsley Maitland Niles was fouled outside the 18 yard box.

Portugal International defender Cedric Soares registered a brace doubling Arsenal's leading advantage. The Portuguese star netted his first and Arsenal's third from outrunning the opponents defense and lobbed the goalkeeper. He then headed home a clinical finish to Nicholas Pepe's cross in the 89th minute.

Newly signed England International goalkeeper Aron Ramsdale enjoyed minutes at London Colney with Bernd Leno out for International duty. It was the second appearance for Ramsdale and his second clean shit in a row.
