Gor Mahia first leg CAF Confederation against Al Ahly Merowe of the Sudan will be played in Suez, Egypt on 15 October and not in Sudan as earlier planned. Communication have been officially done today through Football Kenya Federation.
Gor Mahia will be looking for a CAF Confederations Cup group stage slot chance when they play against Al Ahly Merowe of Sudan in the second preliminary round on 15 this Month in Egypt.
Gor Mahia were given direct entry to this chance following the top rank by FKF while Al Ahly won against their neighbours Atlabara of South Sudan in the first preliminary round by a 4-0 aggregate win, winning 2-0 in each leg to sail into the next round.
Gor Mahia will start their first leg away with the second leg set to be played a week later at Nyayo Stadium in Nairobi this month. We wish them all the best.
