According to Fabrizio Romano Shakhtar CEO Palkin: “Chelsea’s offer for Mudryk has no Ballon d’Or clause. It is achievable bonuses that we feel can be reached”, told @TheAthleticFC & @AdamCrafton. Bonuses are €30m and all related to Champions League and Premier League wins during next years.
Chelsea acted so desperately. It was a wise decision by Edu to slow down and relax the pursue for Mudrkyk. The contract keeps Mudrkyk's future achievements hinged to Shakhtar more that the player's welfare.
Kid chose a £150k a week over 8.5 years contract that’s £66 million in wages alone and Shakhtar chose more money upfront.. it’s that simple. Chelsea “project” is the biggest waffle I’ve ever heard. Purely money based.
Arsenal are in this case correct , why would club spend above 100m for a 21 y/o player that plays in Ukraine league if he doesn't have the potential to win the ballon d'or ? until when this overpaying players will remain?
