Kakamega Homeboyz were match favorites and did not disappoint as they ran riot of on relegated threatened side, Western Stima.
The home team started the match well after taking an early lead thanks to Alex Opoku's 3rd minute goal. In the 10th minute, Homeboyz netted their second from Odiwuor's strike before David Okoth put Western Stima's hope of securing a point at limbo after scoring the third goal.
The second half was still cruel for Stima who conceded the fourth goal through Stephen Wakanya. However, they had their only goal ruled off for offside.
Western Stima remain in position 16 with 12 points from 17 matches. Kakamega Homeboyz have moved up in the KPL table to position 7 with 23 points after playing 17 matches. They now overtake Wazito FC on goal difference.
