Arsenal Star Who Proved Arteta Wrong For Benching Him After Yesterday's Match

Arsenal were locking horns yesterday against their old rivals Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates Stadium as they looked forward to extend their lead to 9 points. One of the Gunners star proved Arteta wrong for leaving him out on the bench in the recent matches.

This match is always one of the biggest clash in England since they are one the biggest rivals in this league. It was a game of two halves and no one would predict how's going to bee by the end of the final whistle.

The host were the once who opened the scoring in the 12th minute of the game after Smith Rowe converted Saka's pass into a goal. In the 27th minute Aubameyang volley beat Hugo Lloris to find back of the net. Seven minutes later, Harry Kane lost possession and Saka took that advantage and went on to score his first premier league goal this season.

In that match Saka became the youngest premier league player to ever score and assist in one match. He is only 20 years and 21days old.

In the second half, the visitors came in with a new energy. Lucas Moura almost opened the scoring but was denied by the woodwork. In the 79th minute,Son scored a consolation goal to make the match end 3-1.

In that match, one of the player who contributed to Arsenal's victory is Granit Xhaka. He has been starting from the bench this seaso as Arteta preferred to start other players.

In last match against Norwich, they struggled in their midfield due to the absence of Xhaka. Yesterday, he performed so well and keep Tottenham forward off. He made their midfield to remain solid throughout the game. When he was substituted, their midfield started to leave which made them to concede one goal.

This now means that Xhaka top performance against Tottenham proved Arteta wrong for benching him in the recent matches.
