Chelsea have been disappointed this evening after failing to contain their 2-0 lead. The new owners have an uphill task to solve. The whole team needs an overhowl. Tuchel needs to be backed with players who suit his style of play. Half of the squad will be leaving after the club failed to conserve their contracts. The humiliation today denied Chelsea from securing their top four finish. Arsenal now have a better chance of overtaking them.
Two observations were made during the game. The Blues had the chance to take all the three points but did shambles when defending. The introduction of Saul did not impact positively. Antonio Rudiger was not showing the ambition to play at the top level. He hasn't been defending well and that led to the opening goal. Timo Werner is not good for Chelsea. He made several mistakes when in the opponent box. He did cross for Lukaku to slot in. Trevor Chalobah should be playing regularly because the Blues have never lost a game in which he started. Mason Mount should never miss from the team because his presence alone boosts the squad.
