Arsenal Transfer Deals Lights Up As Manchester City Star Gabriel Jesus Plans To Join The Club

Prior to playing Crystal Palace on August 5 in their opening game of the 2022–23 season, Arsenal is still striving to bolster their team through transfers.

The club has already completed the acquisitions of Portuguese midfielder Fabio Vieira and Brazilian forward Marquinhos from FC Porto and Sao Paulo, respectively.

The Gunners have also just confirmed that Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus, who previously played for Manchester City, is due to join Arsenal at any moment.

The Gunners are still trying to convince Ajax to let them acquire Argentine defender Lisandro Martinez, but so yet there has been no official agreement.

The team has also stated that they are concentrating on other goals and are not interested in pursuing Serge Gnabry, a winger for Bayern Munich and Germany.

The Belgian and Leicester midfielder Youri Tielemans has also been linked to Arsenal for some time, but no deal has been struck and the Gunners have not yet made a formal offer to the Foxes. The team has high hopes that the transaction will close soon.
