Chelsea Star Makes Transfer U-turn as Foreign Clubs Offer Glittering Deals Ahead of Summer Transfer

Chelsea is enjoying a successful start of the campaign at the top of the premier league table. The North London club has lost a single game to champions Manchester City and only conceded 3 goals in 9 games. Conversations over whether Chelsea will be title contenders this season have taken center stage as Liverpool and City stay close to them to close the gap.

The Blues boast a good defensive record thanks to the partnership of three center half's Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen and Thiago Silva. However, both Christensen and Rudiger's current deals expire in June and extension talks have stalled. Reports claim Christensen has already agreed his offer while Rudiger's has faced an unexplainable conundrum over huge salary demands.

The Germany international demands a whopping £400,000 wages per week while Chelsea is devoted to offer £140,000. However, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are tipped to settle his wage demands. Munich his home country club has been clingy on his trails in recent weeks in a bid to lure the 28 year old to play for them. Consequently, he has decided to evaluate deals from other clubs in order to exit Chelsea for free in the summer.

Elsewhere, Chelsea wonder kid Mason Mount is wanted by Real Madrid. According to Fichajes, Madrid has tabled €80m for the youngster but Chelsea consider him untouchable. The Spanish outfit is considering looking for replacements to aging Tony Kroos, Luka Modric and Casemiro to serve for the next decade. Already it has pertinently completed the move for Eduardo Camavinga as part of the big overhaul.
