Man United: Xavi Plots A Raid On United, Ten Hag's Winter Plans In Jeorpady

Here's the latest from Old Trafford.

Xavi has identified Marcus Rashford as a player he wants to add to his attacking options next summer. Under Ten Hag, the Englishman has been in fine form, scoring three goals and assisting on two others. His contract expires next summer (although it has an option for another year), but it is unlikely that United would want to lose their resurgent No. 10.

The Catalonia giants are keeping an eye on Rashford's contract situation at Old Trafford; their intention is to steal him if the opportunity arises.

According to The Sun, the United Board may have an impact on Ten Hag's winter reinforcement plans. After spending at least £140 million to bring Antony and Casemiro to the Theater of Dreams, it appears that United are hesitant to spend big in the winter transfer window.

This is a setback for Ten Hag, who had previously hinted: "We have many meetings; we have to improve the structures in and around the club, and we will also look to the window in January or next summer already."
