Bernd Leno's red card against Wolverhampton Wanderers in their mid week loss means the German shot stopper will means the Aston Villa clash this weekend when the gunners travel to the Midlands.

Summer signing Alex Runarsson was the man who replaced Leno when he was handed his matching orders on Tuesday and he made two impressive saves to keep the scoreline respectable.

Arsenal fans are however not convinced of Runarsson's shot stopping abilities after his howlers in the Carabao cup competition against Manchester city.

The Emirates based club brought in Australian and Brighton goalkeeper Matt Ryan for a short term loan deal upto the end of the season as backup to Leno.

Although he missed the Wolves clash because of injury and Mikel Arteta has pessimistic about the custodian being fit for the Saturday early kick off, reliable journalist Simon Collins has revealed on his twitter account that their is a sense of optimism Ryan will be fit for Villa.

This could be massive for the gunners who will be looking to bounce back and revenge their earlier drubbing by Aston Villa at the Emirates stadium.
