Kenya had never conceded more than three goals since 2012.The last time Harambee stars shipped in five goals was against Egypt in a FIFA friendly match held in Cairo. During that match, Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah was making his debut in the national team. The deadly striker scored in that match. Salah was playing for Arab contractors before his move to England where he had a short stint with Chelsea.
It only means that Mo Salah has scored once against Harambee stars in as many games as three that he has played against us. However, the huge loss yesterday against Mali has clearly indicated the rot in the Kenyan football management as far changing of coaches is concerned. Harambee stars coach Engin Firat has solely taken the blame from kenyan fans for failing to lineup the best players in the Mali encounter. Kenya conceded four goals in the first half, a game that proved too much for the young midfielders in the squad.
The team is set to play against Mali in Nairobi on Sunday. What is your take on the match? Feel free to share your comments.let us make our country better. For more news updates tap on the follow link on the top right corner.
