Kenyan radios have had some of the best football commentators that have kept listeners glued to the radio stations all through.
Before TV came into the country in large numbers and everyone could afford it, there was radio and people loved listening to sports shows.

Mohammed Juma Njuguna was one of the best football commentators of all time given his flair in reporting.
He started his work at Voice of Kenya before moving onto other radio stations until his sudden demise a few years ago.

Stephen Mukangai is one of the best radio personalities in the country working at Radio Jambo where he is always commentating.
He has a huge following on not just the radio but also on social media where he recently won an award for the most outstanding radio sports personality in the country.

Fred is known for his stories with his coach during his days as a player but currently works with Radio Jambo.
Fred is beloved all over the country for the way that he tells stories during football games from the English Premier League that keeps people glued to the radio.

Torome Tirike aka Double T
Torome Tirike started out as a sports anchor at Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) but moved on to commentating on football.
He is remembered for the way he pronounces his name as Double T that is well known across the country.
