We are into the second week of the English Premier League (EPL) 2021/2022 season and things aren’t looking bad for 19-time-Champions Liverpool.
Today at Anfield, the Reds beat Burnley 2-0 with Jota and Sadio Mane getting on the score sheet in the 18th and 67th minute respectively.
A section of the Reds fans were blown up by Mane’s performance, praising him for getting on the score sheet for the first time this season. The fans took to Liverpool’s official facebook page to praise the striker for a job well done.
“Congratulations Sadio. Always love seeing you score. Super Sadio Mane strikes again,” said Kim Hartley.
El Hadji Malick Ba said, “Not a best Sadio Mane today but a great goal from him. This season will be great.”
“Yakuba Yusuf added, “What a wonderful strike from Sadio Mane. Very brilliant performance today.”
“Best player on that team Mane. Plus he is 100% a team player, never selfish,” said Linda Butler.
However, another fan labelled Mane as the next President of Senegal. “Next President of Senegal,” claimed Eddie Dnash Akaduh.
Current Liberia President George Opong Weah holds the record as the only former African footballer to be elected Head of State.
Besides his football talent, Mane is widely known for his charity work where he reaches out to the less fortunate in the society in his native Senegal.
