Today, Gor Mahia football club will be playing against South Sudan's Al Ahly Merowe at the Nyayo National Stadium and the Football Kenya Federation FKF passed some bad news to the fans who were expected back in the stadium today after the government allowed them back to the stadias but this will not be the case now.
FKF has stated that the fans will not be allowed back to the stadium today as they wrote to the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to approve the fans return request to avoid any possible sanctions but the Confederation never gave a feedback on that upto date.
FKF added that since they never received any feedback from CAF, they consulted with Gor Mahia and sport's stadia and decided that the match will be played behind closed doors.
