There was an embarrassing moment as Ronaldo showed lack of concern when he was questioned of his capability to deliver by Erik Ten Hag. This is after he had missed a clear goal scoring chance during Rayo Vallecano match. Instead Ronaldo shrugged off his shoulder to show lack of concern when Ten Tag asked him of his deficiency.

In a move that culminated with the substitution of the 37 year-old with Ivorian youngster Amad Diallo coming in for him and he proved the Dutch tactician right as he put United ahead with a rebounding goal. 

Later Ronaldo was spotted together with Dalot leaving Old Trafford before the friendly match had ended.

It's not clear if the Portuguese was given permission by the manager to do so according to reports. Amidst uncertainty regarding his future despite his first involvement under Ten Hag helm.

While it's obvious that Ronaldo wants to leave United in search of champions league football. Ten Hag snubbed the question of the talisman's future more so, following his flop performance on Sunday.
