Manchurian United head coach Erik Ten Hag has released a press conference ahead of their round 5 Europa League group stage match against Sheriff on Thursday 27th October 2022.
During the press conference he confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo is back in the squad. He also said that the Portuguese forward will be involved in their Europa League match against Sheriff at Old Trafford.
Earlier on there were trending pictures of Cristiano Ronaldo training with the first team squad at Carrington. He was left out of their game week 13 English Premier League match against Chelsea last weekend. This was after walking out of their midweek EPL match against Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday 19th October 2022. The Red Devil's won the match 2-0.
On the Injury updates, he confirmed that Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Donny Van De Beek and Harry Maguire were all back in training in preparation for the Thursday match. He however said that Rafael Verane will be out until the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Verane overstretched in their Saturday 1-1 draw against Chelsea making him pick up an injury.
