Kenya Women U20 Football Team alias Rising Starlets has today been thrashed by their Ugandan counterparts in a match played as from 3 PM EAT at the Nyayo National Stadium, Nairobi.
The hosts looked weak before a strong Ugandan side which capitalised on the situation.
Rising Starlets are looking for a ticket in the upcoming 2022 FIFA Women's U20 World Cup. The first half saw Uganda U20 Women score 6 goals against Starlets.
Ugandan side scored their goals courtesy of Juliet Nakulenge's brace in the 2nd and 39th minutes, Margaret Kunihira in the 18th minute, Fauzia Nejjamba in the 21st minute, Shamirah Nalugya from the penalty spot in the 26th minute and Sumaya Komuntale's brace in the additional minutes of the first half and 88th minute of the match.
Hosts pulled two goals back in the 61st and 79th minutes courtesy of Shaylene Opisa's brace.
