Manchester United have announced the departure of D’mani Mellor who is a graduate of the Manchester United Academy. The 19-year-old will be joining Ipswich on a season-long loan deal. According to reports, Mellor is expected to undergo his medicals today and officially join Ipswich as the new central midfielder.
Mellor was an integral part of Manchester United’s success in the Under 23 league where he scored 8 goals and made four assists last season. He is yet to make a senior appearance for the Red Devils but if he shines at Ipswich he will most definitely earn a place in Ole Gunnar Solksjaer’s squad next season.
With the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo comes great expectations from Manchester United fans. For some fans, however, a few predicted lineups come to their mind when they hear about just how Ole Gunnar Solksjaer is going to organize his squad so that he can accommodate every player in his squad.
The best one however was this one above because it includes all the players who are above standard in the Manchester United squad. In between the posts is David De Gea and in front of him is a back four comprising Aaron Wan Bisakka, Raphael Varane, Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw. In the midfield area, there is Scott McTominay and Paul Pogba as the holding midfielders, Bruno Fernandes plays in the number 10 role while Rashford and Jadon Sancho play in either wing. Then finally Cristiano Ronaldo leads the frontline.
Jadon Sancho is expected to make his full debut today against Wolverhampton Wanderers. Ever since his arrival, he has not played a full match because Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has always preferred subbing him off the bench and finishing the game. He has been given more than enough time to adapt to the squad and form good and chemistry with his teammates, which means he is in contention to start against Wolves today.
