From Kakamega high school to Swedish top-flight league in a few years for Kenyan talented midfielder

Collins Shichenje graduated from Kakamega high school in 2019 before signing for Nairobi City Stars,the midfielder joined FC Leopards one year later before his fortunes begun to unveil.Shichenje was in the Green Commandos team during his time in high school. It has only taken him two years to reach the best level that has attracted interests from foreign European clubs. However,his destination is now AIK of Sweden. The lanky midfielder was unveiled by the side on a four years deal.

Collins Shichenje will be joining his former school mates Eric Ouma and Henry Meja who also schooled at Kakamega high school .Ouma was the first one to leave the school in 2014 while Meja followed him two years later.Shichenje did his KCSE in 2019.At the age of 18years,the central midfield linchpin will have enough time to grow into the best player he has been tipped to.We wish him all the best in his new home.For more news updates tap on the follow link on the top right corner.
