The 2021/22 Football Kenya Federation premier league top scorer, Derrick Otanga has joined Libya's Alittihad Misurata for a one year deal which can be extended further.
The 23 year old scored 16 goals for KCB club to be named as the league top scorer beating Kenya police winger Clifton Miheso with one goal. Since toping the list he has been receiving offers from foreign clubs.
The bankers finished 7th on the premier league table with 46 points last season. Otanga started his football career at Naivas FC and joined KCB from Sony sugar at the start of the 2020/21 season and managed to score 13 goals for them.
His new club, Alittihad Misurata is a club based on the western side of Libya and plays in the Libyan premier league. The club has played only 2 matches since the 2022/23 season started and are placed 1st in group B with 6 points.
