UEFA Reacts as Messi Becomes The 2nd Player in History To Score in 17 UCL Seasons

The week two UEFA Champions League matches have ended with teams recording great victories against their opponents. Several other matches will also be played today but here are yesterday's results that saw Paris Saint Germain striker Leonel Messi score his first goal for the club against Manchester City.

Ajax opened the weekly matches with a brilliant victory against Besiktas, Shakhtar Donetsk had a stalemate with inter Milan, Club Brugge won 2-1 against RB Leipzig, Borrusia Dortmund won 1-0 against Sporting Lisbon, Liverpool won 5-1 against FC Porto, Atletico Madrid won 2-1 against Ac Milan and PSG won 2-0 against Manchester City.

Netting the second goal after an early first-half strike by Gueye, the Argentine international has now scored 7 goals against the citizens in the Champions League.He is also the second player in history to score in 17 successive Champions League seasons.Mauricio Pochettinho's men are now at the top of the group table with 4 points, Club Brugge second, City third, and RB Leipzig who have not registered a single point fourth.
