Just In: Tottenham Set To Hijack Chelsea's Top Target

Following the current reports from the Italian journalist (Fabrizio Romano), Tottenham Hotspur have made an approach to sign Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan, after he became a free agent in June.

The Chelsea football club, commonly known as the Blues have been eyeing the winger but unfortunately, they are not currently in a position to secure his services as a result of the sanctions against them. In the meantime, the Blues are hopefull that the sanctions would be lifted as soon as possible and they would act fast in the transfer market as transfers have already started.

The reports from Fabrizio Romano claims that, Antonio Conte's side have received a capital of up to £150 million and the equity injection provides Tottenham with greater financial flexibility and the power to invest in the team on and off the pitch.

Club Tottenham are much confident that they can sign the 32-year-old winger, if he fails to renew since Chelsea who would be their greatest competitor are in sanctions.

Furthermore, the Daily mail also claims that, Inter wants the 33-year-old to stay, as they have raised their contract offer from £4.5 million to £5 million, plus bonuses taking upto £6 million for the winger.

For the Chelsea, they'll have to wait till their sanctions are lifted as it is confirmed that Hakim Ziyech is open to leaving the Blues this summer.
