Due to the Ministry of Health’s Thursday directive of outlining covid-19 hotbeds in the country, Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has suspended subsequent lower tier and Division One leagues in Covid-19 hotspot zones for 30 days.
In a statement to the newsroom, Football Kenya Federation outlined that Kenyan Premier League and the National Super League (NSL) matches that were set to take place in the affected regions have been suspended, pending consultations between FKF and the government to find alternative venues in the neighboring counties.

Earlier on, FKF vice president Doris Petra was quoted saying the move might be shocking to the stakeholders but her department was working with the ministry of health for a possible solution.
