Arsenal's prolific left winger who signed from Brazilian league has been handed a new shirt number. Previously, Gabi wore number 35 shirt but following the new season kit release, the 20 year old will inherit Ozil's number 11 shirt number.
Martinelli has been in fine form for Arsenal in the premier league this season bagging five goals and five assists to his name. Furthermore, the Brazilian has previously been linked to big clubs like Liverpool, Real Madrid and Barcelona but it seems he's ready to commit himself to the North London club.
The news of his change of shirt has been received with delight by Arsenal fans with a big hope of the youngster perfoming at the top level next season. Big names have previously worn the number 11shirt at Arsenal and this is a big enough reason to expect a lot from the wonder kid.
Do you think this is a good move for both Arsenal and Martinelli? Let's hear from you in the comment box
