At times players may not know the positions they are best at playing until they explore different positions. Here are the 4 Liverpool footballers who thrived after changing their positions.

1. James Milner - The English footballer joined Liverpool in 2015 as a central midfielder. Since then he has been able to explore different positions including the centre back.

2. Jordan Henderson - When he joined Liverpool in 2011 he was playing as a central attacking midfielder. He shifted to central defensive midfielder which he seems to be performing quit well.

3. Diogo Jota - The Portuguese forward was a left winger while playing for Wolves. Since he joined Liverpool in 2020 he has been playing as a Striker. He scored 15 goals and gave 4 assists in the 2021/2022 English Premier League season.

4. Roberto Firmino - The Brazilian footballer shifted from central attacking midfielder to a striker when he joined Liverpool in 2015.
