Arsenal: Done Deal- Confirmed, Saliba's Shaky Future Under Arteta, Ramsdale's New Challenge

Tyrese John-Jules

Arsenal have facilitated the loan transfer of Academy player Tyrese John Jules to Sheffield Wednesday where he will be playing for the East London club for the next five months. John-Jules has already completed his medicals and has appended all the paperwork and as such, will commence his new role as a Wednesday play today or at the time when the club sees fit. Arsenal have given the player their full support and hope that he will help the relegation battling Championship club stay in the league next season.

John-Jules has been at Arsenal for the past 8 years and his progress over the years has been tremendous and rapid. Arsenal Academy manager Kevin Betsy said that a loan deal will really boost the player's confidence as he will have the chance to play against world-class players who are much older and more experienced than him.

William Saliba

William Saliba's future with Marseille is getting more and more entangled after it was reported that the French defender is contemplating triggering a permanent move to the French clubs at the end of the season. Saliba has been one of the most important players in the squad this season and the fans of Marseille have held him in high regard for his commitment and dedication to the club. Arsenal have been keenly analyzing the defender and it looks like next season they might give the player a try in the starting lineup for the opening matches of the season.

Saliba has only made four appearances for the Gunners since joining the club three years ago from Nice OGC and that is mainly because Mikel Arteta has been sanctioning season-long loan spells for him claiming that he is not ready to take on the Premier League challenge. At this point, however, he has proven to be a tough defender and a more mature player at that.

Aaron Ramsdale

Aaron Ramsdale has been phenomenal this season and the fact that he was not included in the top 10 list of the Premier League best shot-stoppers composed by 90 Min, is a big shock to many fans and neutrals alike. Next season he is expected to further raise the stakes since he will have a new challenger for the number one spot. Hopefully, by increasing the level of competition, he will become an even better goalkeeper than he is today.
