Another Blow To Chelsea On The Summer Target Set To Join London Mates

Its summer time. The interesting part of the day is that, a team can sign players from the team that may have prevented them from playing certain competitions with no gains through knockouts. Players are keen to improve their game time as its equivalent to what puts food on table for their families, and by doing this, they go to their preferred teams on where they can attain it.

Chelsea has been one team on the market trying to shape up the squad for next season despite of the sanctions. The Premier League board and the UK government gave a green light on the sanctions meaning Chelsea will be in the market as other teams. Thomas Tuchels side last season got alot of injuries which affected the plans he had in store for various matches forcing him to be out of Premier League tittle race. This was after Ben Chilwell got injured at the Champions League Victory Vs Juventus last year. His immediate backups did not be of aid as expected and forced Tuchel to play the Captain Azipilicueta and at times Reeve James on the position who later got injured. Chelsea is looking to strengthen the position by bringing in a more experienced player. They had identified Ivan Perisic from Inter this summer being a free agent. Perisic is a well decorated left-wing back who has proven at different leagues to be worth big cheque signing. He featured 35 games for Inter Milan last season scoring only 2 goals. Different clubs have approached the Croatian but he is yet to make his decision. Tottenham are the favorites to land the left back as it has been keen for long and Antonio Contes would want to bring him in after putting his left back Sergio Regullion on sale this summer.

Chelsea have already lost their center back Rudiger to Real Madrid. Marcos Alonso, Azipilicueta and Christen are all expected to join Barcelona this summer after the Catalans individual approach. Should this happen in this transfer, then Chelsea will be left with one experienced left wing back, Chilwell. Can he manage the position on his own? Leave your comments below.
