Harambee stars Striker Michael Olunga has been a doubt for the country since he suffered an injury setback. The player who is among the best strikers in the world is yet to replicate his club form for Harambee stars in the world cup qualifiers. He failed to score against Rwanda at home some few weeks ago.
The player however maintained his status as a top striker today as he netted 5 goals. Olunga who was introduced in the 2nd half when the game was scoreless. The 26 year old Kenyan international had been out injured and was left on the bench in today's game.
Al Duhail's coach however had to bring on Olunga since the team lacked sharpness in attack. He never disappointed as he scored 5 goals to end the game in favor of his Qatari club. We expect the prolific striker to lead Kenya in the upcoming world cup Qualifiers.
Other Harambee Stars players have played this weekend and most of them performed well. It is Olunga's performance that have eclipsed all others since no one expected such from a player fresh from Injury. How proud is it for a former Gor Mahia man to fly Kenya's flag high miles away from home.
