Chelsea drew one all with Real Madrid at the Bernabu to set up a great game for next week when they meet in the return leg. Chelsea went one nil up in the 19th minute, leaving Madrid with nothing little to do in the few minutes that Chelsea led.
Real Madrid found one back through striker Karim Benzema in what is arguably the goal of the tournament. Sergio Ramos who was in the stands could only look at how his team wasted chances as he wished he was in the field playing.

The man of the night was undoubtedly, Kante. The Frenchman did nothing but ensure Real Madrid were kept at bay the entire game with not much threat to the Chelsea defense.
Kante also went forward a couple of times and almost gave an assist only for Werner to waste the opportunity. The way he handled the ball was just nothing short of a great player. He does always turn up in big games as Chelsea fans have described his presence in this game.
