Before the emergence of Neymar, there was another Brazilian player who was even better than him.His name was Robinho who upto date is considered one of Brazil's best players due to his incredible dribbling and goalscoring ability.Back in 2003,he joined Ac Milan leading them to glory for three consecutive seasons before leaving for Real Madrid. It was here at Madrid that things started going bad for him.
The money and the fame got the better part of him as he spent most of his time partying and on drugs. His form deteriorated and in under one season he was sold to Manchester City.He did not perform well at City either and ended up being sold back to Ac Milan. He then committed a crime in this city,an alleged rape to a minor.Yesterday the court of appeal in Milan found him guilty and sentenced him to nine years in prison. It is sad that Robinho wasted his good years and went from being one of the greats to getting behind bars.
