The 2021 summer transfer window officially shut on 31st August, but English Premier league clubs have a span of one week to sign available free agent players.
Former Liverpool star striker Daniel Sturridge has been without a club for more than 18 months after being released from Turkey, and has been struggling to sind a club for himself.
According to Daily Mail Sports news reports, during his 32nd birthday celebrations, Daniel Sturridge sent a please come get me plea to English Premier league clubs who might be interested in him.
Sturridge stated on his social media accounts: "Year 32. More motivated than I've ever been in my life to be successful. Older, wiser and fit as a fiddle. God is good.
Thanks everyone for the birthday messages. Means a lot. It's time for me to back to the game."
This message was liked and commented by several of his former Liverpool teammates who wished him well as he continues searching for another club.
