Chelsea have been linked with a multiple signing of players this season with a clear intention to make the squad perfect for next season competition. Chelsea priority was to sign strikers after the newly signed strikers last summer failed to show up in goalscoring. The likes of Timo Werner, Kai Harvertz, Hakim Ziyech have been struggling in making goals which made Tuchel seek for forward players who are consistent in goalscoring.
However, Chelsea have changed the priority of signing only strikers this season. Tuchel has made a move to be linked with the signing of world class defenders. Chelsea have a massive defensive defenders with no weaknesses. They even went ahead to extend Thiago Silva contract with one year following his great performance from the experience despite of his age.
Tuchel has been directed with a move to sign veteran from spain. 35-years old Sergio Ramos is considered to be released by Real Madrid at a manageable transfer cost following a season out of field due to many injuries. Chelsea have been linked with a talk to secure the support of the central defender. Tuchel is also interested in Raphael Varane but his transfer cost will double that of Sergio Ramos.
