Manchester City and Liverpool will both be hoping to lay down a marker ahead of the start of the Premier League season, as they meet in the 2022 Community Shield.
The annual curtain-raiser pits the Premier League winners and the FA Cup winners from the previous season up against one another in a one-off match for the Community Shield.
This match will take place this week on Saturday at the King Power stadium as from 19:00 hours East African Time.
Below is the possible Lineup that the two clubs could use.
Manchester city has completed the transfer of Zinchenko and the club is eyeing Cucurella as his potential replacement and if the deal materializes before the match day, he could feature in the starting lineup.
However, in his absence Joao Cancelo could play as a left back while Walker play on the right back.
Liverpool could use Nunez, Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah in their attack, Henderson, Thiago and Fabinho at the midfield and Robertson, Trent Alexander Arnold, Virgil and Konate at the defense.
However in the absence of Konate and Henderson Klopp could use this alternative lineup.
