Michael Olunga is a Kenyan professional footballer. Olunga has played for Harambee Stars in many matches. At some point in 2019 he helped the national team to qualify for the presitigious African Cup of Nations tournament in Cairo Egypt.
Olunga plays abroad for Al Duhail SC in Qatar League. He joined the club this year from the Japanese side Kashiwa Reysol. In Japan Olunga proved unstoppable after he scored 29 goals in just 34 league matches in a single season. He ended up winning the golden boot and the Most Valuable Player awards.
Yesterday, his club welcomed Ali Ahli in the last match in Group C Asian Champions League at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium. It is a match that ended in a draw of one goal.
The most outstanding thing in that match is how Michael Olunga scored a thunderous header in the presence of four defenders. He is now the leading top scorer with eight goals in six matches.
Various fans have reacted differently on facebook pages to that header. Here are some of the them in screenshots.
In my view Olunga has proved beyond reasonable doubt that he can play in any competitive league. What do you think about Olunga's current form in Qatar? Drop your thoughts down here in the commenting section kindly.
