Chelsea have thrown away their chance of reaching top four by drawing against Brighton Albion. The players looked distracted from the first half. Mason Mount was recruited into a double pivot midfield as N’Golo Kante remained rested. Chelsea had no greenlight to score the whole game. Two late errors from Kurt Zouma almost cost the team all the three points. All the three substitutes had no impact since the performance remained flat until the last minute.
Thomas Tuchel is not a happy man after the game. He claims that Chelsea did not deserve to win the game. Brighton defended very well and credit to them. Tuchel has further revealed that the players were tired from the kick off. He further clarified that the Superleague scoundrel forced the players to be distracted. He has however stated that he will use the three days at hand to build their confidence again. He has labeled the Westham game as a big one. This Saturday, the game will determine the top four bid for the Blues.
