English Premier League Table Standings After Saturday Matches

Aston Villa opened the day with a 2-1 victory over Everton at Villas Park. This records their first victory in the news season after suffering defeat in their opening match on the other Everton FC recorded their second defeat in a row.

In another match, Manchester City recorded a huge victory of 4-0 when they hosted AFC Bournemouth at Etihad Stadium.

Ikay Gundogan opened the scoring for the host Inthe 19th minute assisted by Erling Haaland before Kevin de Bryne made 2-0 in the 31st minute assisted by Phil Foden.

Foden solidified their victory six minutes later assisted by Kevin De Bryne before Lerma's 98th minute own goal made it 4-0 for Manchester City.

In another match, Arsenal FC secured a 4-2 victory over Leicester City at the Emirates stadium.

Gabriel Jesus put the Gunners in front in the 23rd minute assisted by Xhaka before he added second goal in the 35th minute.

Leicester City pull back a goal in the 53rd minute when Saliba netted in his own net. Two minutes later Gabriel Jesus assisted Xhaka to make the scores 3-1 before James Madison pull back another goal for Leicester.
