Well, the UEFA Champions League resumed on Wednesday night with the first fixture being between Zenit St Petersburg and Chelsea. It was not an easy game to the Blues as many football fans expected. The game ended 3-3 at full time. Timo Werner opened the scoring for the visiting team with just two minutes into the play. Claudinho then equalized in the 38th minute before Azmoun scored the second goal for the home team in the 41st minute.
Romelu Lukaku scored Chelsea's second goal in the 62nd minute before he was substituted. Timo Werner scored the third goal for Chelsea in the 85th minute which many thought that was the winning goal. However, Ozdoev equalized for Zenit St Petersburg in added time.
Well, Chelsea fans are praising one of the stars after he gave a brilliant performance on Wednesday night. According to a good number of the fans, Timo Werner played really well against Zenit St Petersburg. Some fans feel that he has really improved and he could be given more game time once again.
